Hello, I am Jane, an Event Coordinator, and here to help with the running of parties, weddings and corporate events.  I also host 90′ fun quiz trails round Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon.

After many months of planning, purchasing and organising… are you worried about how it will all come together on the day?

I have many years of event experience organising conferences, weddings, entertainment, dinners and drinks parties from 50 to 500 people and really enjoy coordinating events leaving the hosts free to meet their guests and enjoy the day.  Working in the music business for five years in London,  and then moving to Warwickshire where I became a PR consultant specialising in gastro pubs, restaurants and live music venues all of which have given me a very good understanding of the hospitality industry and how important service, surroundings and food are to ensuring the success of an event.

When coordinating an event, I suggest an initial meeting to introduce myself and go through the format and the schedule.  Hours to work on the event day are agreed to suit your requirements, thereafter liaising to ensure everything is covered in the function sheet with full attention to detail, and a final meeting onsite to recce the venue nearer the date to ensure everything will go as planned.

On the day I will coordinate:

  • catering, flowers, setting up the room, everywhere clean and tidy
  • decorations, seating and signage in place and other final touches
  • be on hand for guests arriving, parking, drinks poured, usher to tables and schedule followed
  • entertainment/live music/DJ – arrival, set up, sound check and on stage on time
  • assist with pouring drinks, clearing tables, unexpected requirements and lots more.

Trivia Trails – I have written and host 90′ fun quiz trails for round Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick which can be booked for a day and time to suit your visit and are popular with family/friends and hen parties who would like a little competitive mix as part of their socialising activities.  Suit all ages from 8 years upwards.   See the Trivia Trails Quiz page for more details.

EVENT SERVICES

When organising an event an extra pair of hands can make all the difference to freeing up your time to mix and mingle on the day.  Be it assisting with setting up the room or gardens;  manning a reception desk;  pouring and serving drinks; circulating canapés;  clearing tables; managing catering suppliers; sound-checking live entertainment – there is plenty to do on the actual day to ensure it all runs smoothly.  There is only a limited amount of time and opportunity to socialise with your guests –  it’s your event so make sure you are free to enjoy it!

TRIVIA TRAILS QUIZ

Join in a fun 90′ quiz trail walk round historic STRATFORD-UPON-AVON or WARWICK town centre looking for the answers to a mix of historical, observational and fun questions.  Whether local or a visitor, the quiz trails are a great way to get your bearings, discover areas you probably wouldn’t come across on your own and gain a good understanding of how these old market towns evolved over the centuries whilst enjoying a very sociable and fun couple of hours with your group and a little competitiveness thrown into the mix.

After a short introduction from your quiz trail host teams of up to six follow the directions on the quiz sheet, returning 90′ later for scoring and prizes for the winning team members. A perfect way to spend a couple of hours of screen-free time, socialising and learning in a fun way.   Buggy, dog & wheelchair-friendly.  Popular with friends, families and hen parties as suitable for groups of four or more and all ages from the age of 8 upwards. Book a date to suit your visit with a start time from 10am to 2pm (to ensure everywhere is open):

To fit in with our warmer and lighter days, quiz trail dates are more popular from April to October but welcome to book a date and time  to suit your visit on any day of the year except Christmas Day, subject to the host’s availability.

Warwick: SPECIAL EVENT:  90′ Quiz Trail followed by a Two Course Sunday Lunch at the Lord Leycester Great Hall Cafe on:

Stratford:  As there are currently ongoing roadworks causing congestion in and out of town, scheduled trails will be added later in the year.  Private party bookings still welcome.

2024 prices:  Adults £20.00, child aged 9-16 £6.00, child 8 and under free. Your quiz trail for the hen do was really good fun, well organised and a great activity for our mix of all ages.  And your help managing the wedding day leaving us free to be with our 160 guests was invaluable.  Without your help it would have been much more difficult – we didn’t even know you were there—everything went perfectly.

Jane was the wedding coordinator at my son’s wedding at our rural home.  The day included a humanist service in the garden, 140 guests, large marquee, drinks/canapés, three course sit down wedding breakfast and live music.   Following the agreed schedule she kept a low profile whilst ensuring the smooth running of the drinks, catering and entertainment.   It made the bride and groom’s, and our day, so much more enjoyable and put us at ease, knowing everything was in Jane’s very capable hands.

Thank you so much Jane for everything that you did to make our evening do a success, it went even better than we could have hoped for, the lovely drinks reception, great music and brilliant food that you organised.  You were such a star making sure everything went to plan.  We had a fantastic time as did all of our guests and we cannot thank you enough.

Jane was recommended to BCO as we were in need of an extra pair of hands to coordinate our  networking events for up to 100 delegates held monthly at different offices in and around Birmingham.  She liaises with the hosting company to ensure everything is in place keeping our committee in the loop, and attends on the day putting marketing material on display, overseeing the catering and manning the desk with name badges ready for registration of the delegates, and then ensuring they are seated ready for the speaker presentations.  Everything was thought of, and knowing the organisation of our event was in very capable hands it left us free to enjoy the presentations and network with our guests.  I personally found Jane to be a true professional at her work.

We have been holding an annual Christmas drinks party which has grown in numbers each year so it was suggested we asked Jane to help out on the day and very pleased we did.  We had an initial meeting a couple of weeks prior to show her round the house and go through the format of the party.  On the day, with over 100 guests coming and going, she meeted/greeted and manned the temporary bar pouring copious glasses of prosecco, gin & tonic and soft drinks and topping up the large beer bucket throughout the evening.  The best part was waking up in the morning to find we could still recognise the house rather than coming down to a sea of empty glasses, bottles and food platters.  We have already booked Jane again for another party.
